“You hear all the figures, all the people dead from Covid, one way or another. The old and the sick and the ill and that. And the fit ones too, and young. All of them.
“And you hear we’re doing worse than most every other country.
“And we blame the government and that’s true. I mean, that’s right. They don’t care. They didn’t invest enough and they never do.
“But you know, what’s really really bugging me is that I’m thinking we’re – you and me – we’re all guilty too. We’ve not hounded them out. All of them. Everyone who puts them in to power too, and everyone who keeps them there.
“And if you aren’t against them, you’re with them.
“And you and me, we’ve done nothing. That’s how they get away with it.
“That’s so depressing.”
